Game changer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always wanted a kitchen aid and when I finally got one I felt like my oven was never off for long. Brioche pigs in a blanket! Meringue was no longer a scary prospect! And so easy to clean too. I got the matt black and it looks very sleek on my kitchen counter. Love it :)

Powerful mixer but

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my Kitchenaid as a Christmas gift. As much as it is a powerful machine it does not have a a slide to the side base that would allow you to add ingredients as it is mixing. You have to take the bowl off and then add ingredients which I find inconvenient and if you are adding flour( as in making cookies) it flies all over. My Sunbeam stand mixer had this feature. For the price I think this should be a feature. I would recommend this to a friend as a powerful mixer but I would also let them know that it does not allow you to adding ingredients when mixing.

Brand new mixer clicking noise

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I opted to replace a defective bowl-lift pro mixer with this tilt-head, and this one has a whole new issue. I’ve only ever made muffins, and only 3 times, but every time I’ve used this mixer, it has made a loud clicking sound that comes from where the beater attaches to the mixer. The bowl is adjusted into the correct position, the beater is not hitting the bowl, and I’ve yet to mix any batter even near close to thick enough to cause any strain on anything. This is super frustrating for such an expensive mixer…twice now… This mixer is beautiful, but at this point, I still prefer my decade old Sunbeam.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
