[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wanting to replace my old LG refrigerator/freezer which I bought 15 years ago and was great - never had a problem. However I wanted a new one and finally found this model and it had all the features I wanted. I use a lot off ice and the ice maker is keeping up with my demands - excellent and the water dispenser is so convenient well designed and prevents spills. Overall this is a wonderful LG model and I highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We moved into a new house recently and the existing refrigerator did not have in the door ice and water so we wanted to upgrade. We went through the process of looking at numerous models and settled in on this one. Obviously the ice/water in the door was key. This model makes smaller ice cubes than I have seen previously; I like it. The ice maker is in the door and reviews commented that the ice storage was less because of that. So far, we have not run the ice storage out so I don't view that as a problem.
Another feature that caught our attention was the stated internal size; it was one of the biggest of the refrigerators with the same outer dimensions. In use, it is spacious. Much better than the fridge we replaced.
The door-in-a-door is nice. We opted for this model with a solid door rather than the glass door that is on other models. We generally know why we are opening the door and didn't see the need to be able to view the contents of the fridge without opening a door. We are very satisfied with our choice.
I was a little concerned about having multiple drawers and doors; mainly I thought it would cut down on available space. As I stated, space is not an issue and for now, we are using the middle drawer for meats and cheeses so we are getting used to knowing which place to go. In the long run I am sure it will allow the fridge to run more efficiently since the doors won't be opened for searching as much. I like it, but, for us it really is something that makes us organize the contents more effectively rather than a ground breaking feature.
So far so good. I am very satisfied with the purchase. I would buy this model again.

And we are so happy with our new L.G. refrigerator!!!! It has plenty of organized storage in both the freezer and in the refrigerator for our family of 6! The doors providing convenience to milk juice and drinks right inside the doors. The ice maker being inside the door leaves plenty of space for food. Highly recommended this product!
