[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second LG refrigerator in 3 1/2 years. My first one lasted 18 months and could not be repaired. Thankfully I had the extended warranty. This one made it to just about 2 years and the compressor went. Luckily, this time it was repaired. Not sure why a refrigerator that costs what this did can’t last without issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our compressor went out in the first 5 years. We were without a refrigerator for over two weeks. It was replaced and a year later ice formed on the evaporator coil. The tech diagnosed it as a evaporator coil leak without testing for a leak. The ice melted off the coil while he worked on it and when he left it began cooling. It appears to be working now. Very inconvenient when refrig goes out or doesn’t cool properly.

After 6 years of issues not cooking properly and 100’s of dollars in spoiled food I have decided to replace all my LG products with a different brand. I will never buy LG kitchen appliances again. Pure Junk and 1 star is over kill.
