My experience is horrible and won't consider buying further LG Products or recommend with families and friends. Wondering how LG will claim that their refrigerator thar they manufacturered is beyond repairs. LG Tech cuts off my compressor tubes and left without connecting them back. Now the freezer that was cooling a little is completely dead and all items in the fridge were all spoiled.

Truly the worst refrigerator I’ve ever owned.

The ice maker stopped producing ice while the unit was under warranty. The compressor was replaced which fixed the problem temporarily. Ice maker subsequently replaced and stopped making ice a few weeks later.

First LG unit ever owned, short 7 year lifetime.

Acquired this French Door Refrigerator in 2022 when I bought the house. Label says it was made 07/2017. It will not chill food to under 50F and the freezer does not get cold enough to freeze food hard. Will be replacing this week. Verified the evap fan is working, but an undocumented fan in back of the filter is dead. However, that fan will not cause the freezer to get colder, so I suspect the compressor is also going out. To me, a refrigerator that only lasts 7 years is pretty awful. US refrigerators used to last 30 years, now they are mostly crap.

I am very pleased with my purchase. Needed a bigger fridge & after researching, this one was it! Lots of storage & compartments. Only con is that it's incredibly hard to keep the stainless steel clean.

Fancy modern fridge with ton of functional space

I wasn't too sure about the middle flex drawer, but it's pretty neat though I haven't used it too much yet. Love love all the LED lights inside, it feel very bright and clean. The door-in-door feature is unique and handy if you frequently get drinks out. I was used to having a cheese drawer inside, but the two quick bins at the bottom and the extra center veg drawer has been a nice change. And lastly the one shelf that half slides back for more tall items is pretty nice as well. It's really great to have the option for a full or half shelf depending on what needs to fit inside. Water dispenser is vastly improved from my original LG Fench door from 2007. The new type of compressor seems quiet and efficient so far. Overall, this fridge is very cool and all the features I wasn't sure about have turned out to be pretty nice to have. It was a little expensive though.

Huge! Just what I wanted!

Mother in law gets confused by the door-in-a-door but that's ok, she's 83. The soda cans fit nicely in the slide out center drawer. And the bottom freezer compartments are huge. The new refrigerator fit in the same space as the old one but it is big on the inside. It is so big that it looks empty, that we don't have enough food to fill it. We are completely satisfied with it, it is an excellent refrigerator.
