Ice Compartment

We have owned this refrigerator for 3-4 months. The door n door is nice, we like the refrigerator on top and bottom freezer because it appears to give more refrigerator space which is what we use most. The ice compartment does not store enough ice. When we have 2-3 guest, we run out of ice. The water dispenser has already become scarred from glasses, and outside surface is difficult to clean.
Pros: Performance
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There was a problem with icing between the drawer and the interior wall. LG authorized a new gasket around the drawer door but icing started again within a month. Long story/short - LG replaced the unit. I am hoping this unit does not have similar issues because I like the size and other features.

I have the LMXS30776D model that was made in 2016.03 I have now had to replace the compressor and the evaporator coil.

We fell in love with this style and got a good deal on it. The only 2 things we are not thrilled about is the ice maker doesn't make enough ice quickly enough for just the 3 of us here at home. Our old one did a much better job of keeping the ice flowing. Also, the shelves in the doors could be a bit deeper for larger condiments and other containers.
The freezer is amazing with how much it can hold and the different drawers to accommodate the various sizes of freezer items is great! The lighting is great and the bell sounds letting us know if the doors are ajar or we have them opened too long is really nice.
We love it overall and it makes us smile just seeing it in our kitchen!
One nice and unexpected feature was the filter to keep the air from being smelly with different food odors. Beats keeping a box of baking soda in it for that issue.

The refrig is a little over one year old and the freezer stopped working. Lost all the food that was in the freezer. I would think that a refrigerator of this price would work longer than one year. Very disappointed and upset.

Stopped working after a year and a half!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fridge was working great up until a week ago and then out of no where just stopped working. $300 worth of groceries in the trash. After talking to several repairmen I was told it is more than likely a bad compressor which after researching online this appears to be a very common problem after the fridge is about a year old. Very disappointing to have spent alot of money on this product and have it break down already. I was a long time lg buyer up until now. Never again!

Love the bottom freezer!

This refrigerator is excellent. It is easy to see and reach all of your food in the refrigerator. We love the slim ice maker and the ice/water in the door feature. I just wish the ice cubes were a little larger, as they melt quickly. The bottom freezer has two sliding shelves and a divided bottom drawer. I LOVE them as it is so easy to keep food organized. I would highly recommend this refrigerator to anyone. If you don't close the outside door correctly there is an alarm that reminds you to close the door. Great feature!
