[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this fridge several years ago. Loved the features. Bought the extended warranty even though I assumed LG made quality products. Thank goodness that I did. The icemaker had issues from the very beginning. Took several follow-up visits to get it working properly. The warranty has now run out and now the whole computer system that runs the water and icemaker is out. The cost to fix it is over $1,000. Will never buy an LG product ever again.

When I built our new home we bought all new kitchen appliances. We chose this model because we liked the way it was designed. I liked the LG Electronics and assumed the LG appliances were just as good. Currently we area awaiting parts for a non-working unit. This will be the third compressor. the first two compressors were replaced under LG warranty. I purchased a third party extended warranty (LG approved) and it expires in 2025. Hopefully, this compressor will keep operating until then. If it goes out again I am left with no choice but to will purchse a new refrigerator/freezer (Not LG) I no not to go through this problem again.

Bought this unit to replace a counter depth which was not big enough for our family. Great styling, capacity, and functionality however have had 2 service calls to fix things in the first 2 years. Really disappointed in the Korean manufacturers as their quality has gone downhill in recent years.

This refrigerator has been nothing but trouble since we bought it. Repair after repair and as soon as the warranty expired it died completely.
