[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit had compressor issues and it went out 3 times on us. It was under warranty and we had Cullman appliance come and repair it 3 times. The fridge just quit working for the 4th time in one month. We have lost hundreds of dollars due to this fridge. At what point does warranty work pass the value of the fridge and warranty replaces the fridge? I’ve never had a fridge this bad and I’ll probably never get another LG unit again. Any thoughts on this LG?

Your freezer will fail. Like 9/10, which is probably why it is discontinued. It fails with an error code that is not possible to repair according to all of the websites advice I’ve read. And if the freezer fails your water and ice will probably stop working also. I genuinely feel bad for the people who are still buying it when this is a faulty product that is expensive and hard to service.

Repair service has been horrible.

The compressor on our refrigerator went out after just 5 years. We were still covered for parts, but the “Authorizes LG Repair” service was sketchy and the repair wasn’t done right. Our refrigerator isn’t keeping things as cold as it should.
