Worth every penny

To me, this fridge represents the state-of-the-art in fridge design. Everything in the fridge is easily viewed and accessed. The extra chill drawer is awesome for drinks or snacks. The door-in-door feature is brilliant. I love that the ice maker is built in to the door and does not take up space inside the fridge. Did I mention it looks stunning? Love everything about this appliance.

Bad design on energy saving interior door.

The interior door-in-door won't stay closed. Every time you open the main door and even slightly bump the inside door it opens. This sometimes results in not being aware that it is loose and then the next time you attempt to open the main door you must open the left door as well in order to close the interior door on the right side first. There should be a latch of some sort on that interior door.
We also currently have an issue with the Custom Chill Drawer squeaking and dragging when opening and closing. We have placed a call for service which is pending at this time.

Looks pretty but has some design flaws

There are 3 small (one of them tiny, serving no purpose at all) vegetable/fruit bins which prevent storage of a lot of items due to their shallow depth. Celery cannot go in them, nor can most pre-packaged vegetables. Having 2 larger ones would have allowed for celery to go in horizontally (side-to-side). It would be great it it could be modified, but I don't see how.
The water dispenser would be much easier to use if they had made the spout longer or slightly farther out.
The manual needs to cover more items, and have accurate information on some of the ones it does cover.
The one problem that cannot be corrected is the lack of magnetized surface. I'm still trying to figure out where and how to have my emergency contact information readily available.

This fridge is outstanding!

We are so happy with the room this product supplies. The small ice maker in the door frees up shelf space. I love the small ice cubes and the dispenser prevents ice and water from spilling out onto the floor. The double door is one of the best features ever. I love the ability to move shelves and split them so that you may view everything in the fridge. Our previous fridge did not have split shelves. We have a small width space but there is plenty of room in the 32" fridge. The freezer space is more than adequate even with the ice bin for extra ice. We could not be happier with this purchase! :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Did my homework with this fridge and I can see why it has mostly 4.5 and 5 stars. First of all, it's a beautiful fridge! Very quiet, lots of space, bright inside and the compartments are easy to open/gain access to. The door in door feature is perfect as we usually just open our fridge for drinks. all doors open and close with ease. We also purchased the LG range and microwave the same time but of course the fridge stole the show!

No water/No Ice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From the day of delivery the water dispenser, nor ice maker will work. When water valve is opened to allow water to flow into the unit, water leaks inside refrigerator. Repairman came to repair unit, but we have had the same result.
I have had good results with other LG products, but have been complete unsatisfied with this refrigerator.

Biggest piece of garbage I have ever owned

I bought this refrigerator in 2016. In 2017 I had to have the compressor replaced. I had to contact LG again for another compressor issue! This is the sorriest product I have ever purchased. I would be embarrassed to even work for this company, let alone actually sell this garbage. Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with everything about this product. I will never buy another LG product again. I cannot believe this company charges the prices they do for completly inferior products. Hopefully they keep making these garbage products and go out of business. That would do the world a favor. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!! I cannot stress that enough. This whole company should be ashamed they stand behind this terrible products.
