[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the refridgerater for about a month.
PROS: Great lighting. Shelves on the ice maker door are so handy for small bottles, all are in one location now. Freezer is roomy. The pull out fridge drawer is also handy to store small items that would be lost on a shelf.
CONS: It will not go below 38 in the main fridge even when I set the temp to 33 degrees. The shelf next to the folding one dips so the two shelves are not level with each other. Fingerprints show up very easily. There is not shelf or bin that will accommodate wine bottles, so you need to push in the adjustable shelf or move one of the shelves up. If you move a shelf up, it creates a very narrow shelf suitable for flatter items and makes it difficult to find items and maneuver them around. The placement of the water dispenser spout is awkward. The recommended cup placement requires you to place the lip against the lever. Lots of water all over until people learn how to get water out. Hard water deposits do not clean easily off the dispenser lever.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my new refrigerator for two weeks, and I still glowing every time I walk into the kitchen. Great look, of course! The black stainless is so beautiful. But, better yet, lots of space inside -- and spaces which make sense! Love the double door, which opens for quick grab items like beverages, half-and-half, butter, etc. Or opens for full access to the refrigerator. Love the quick grab drawers, the wine compartment, the temp controlled deli section... too many features to mention.
I chose delivery and set-up, which was a very wise decision. The two guys were excellent moving the frig into the house and setting up the many, different assemblies (doors, handles, drawers, etc.) They were quick, but careful, and very neat. They even moved the old frig out to the garage, which required taking off and then putting on the handles, and taking off my door. They were terrific!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this refrigerator as a housewarming gift from my in-laws. They recommended an LG fridge as that’s what they currently have and love. We have had this fridge for a few weeks and we love our LG fridge too. I love the door in door feature, makes it easy and convenient to grab coffee creamer, milk and juice quickly and without opening the entire fridge. The water dispenser makes it easy to fill containers/water bottles of any size! The fridge itself is spacious and beautiful from the outside and inside.

More repairs than I expected for this. Would highly recommend that if you do buy this, make sure you purchase extended warranty. The repairs were MAJOR work.

I especially like the ice maker in the door. Like the door in door feature. LG is very well respected by folks I have come in contact with, in my search of appliances. I purchased this refrigerator 6 months ago. I had always owned a side-by-side refrigerator and was really hesitant to purchase one with a French Door design. I'm glad that I purchased this one. The freezer 3-tier design is great. It's definitely convenient because you don't have to dig through food to find what you are looking for. I love the Door-in-Door feature because it's large enough to hold all of the items used most frequently so you don't have to open the entire refrigerator. All in all, I am happy with this purchase.
