Very Disappointed!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this refrigerator 2 yrs & 11 months ago. The compressor is now out, and the black stainless paint is chipping in places around the edges. I loved this fridge, when we purchased it. Just disappointed, it hasn't even lasted 3 years.

I have not had this refrigerator very long and it's already making a loud sound from the fan on the unit. When I open the door the sound stops it has been doing this for several weeks now. I thought I was buying a quality unit by spending $4000.00. I wished I would of bought a sub zero refrigerator instead.

Flaky compressor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I purchased our refrigerator October 2017. I love the style and look of my refrigerator, but was surprised when the freezer started defrosting and the refrigerator stopped cooling. Repair tech came out the next day and reset the compressor, suggested to put a cup of water in the freezer to see if it freezes and give it 24 hours to see if the cooling stabilized. The cup of water froze, but the refrigerator wasn’t cold enough for food. I noticed the cup of frozen water started to thaw, but over a few days without any food in either the freezer or refrigerator the temperature stabilized. I had the repair tech replace the compressor in hopes to have a working refrigerator and freezer longer than 18 months.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Folding shelf is a great idea. Only when it is pushed back the shelf on the left looses it's support in the front. It's snap in support doesn't stay snapped in. The 3 crisper drawers are ok. the middle one requires both door open to access it. I am enjoying the door in the door for easy access to milk, drinks etc. Haven't had it long enough to form a complete opinion. We still have not installed the water line for the the ice maker.

Repair person knowledgeable, parts sent to my house...LG repair service is great! Parts and repair under warranty fortunately but disappointing ‘fridge quit after only 2 years!
