WORST PURCHASE EVER!!!

I bought this refrigerator in January of 2017. The first time it went out was about a year after we purchased it. The repair man was sent out by LG, he replaced the compressor and the refrigerator began to work again. Four months later, the refrigerator went out again. I called LG and they sent another repair man out, he again replaced the compressor and the refrigerator began to work again. The following month the refrigerator went out again for the THIRD TIME IN 6 months!!! I again called LG, they sent out a repair man who replaced a bunch of parts, none of which solved the issue. I have now been without a refrigerator for 3 WEEKS and it will be another week before another repair man can come out and attempt to fix my refrigerator. This was by far THE WORST PURCHASE I HAVE EVER MADE!!
STAY AWAY!!!!! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!
I would not recommend this product to my worst enemy.

Biggest major purchase disapointment of my 80 year

After 14 months of good function and quiet operation refrigerator failed. Getting customer service was a nightmare! Tehcnician arrived after more than a week, and made a botched repair, had to return three and do over. Since the repair the refrigerator makes loud noises while running, and even when it shuts down. Periodic popping sound.
Pros: Style/Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worst customer service award.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Top of the line did not last 3 years. It stopped getting cold. We know that happens but the customer service is the worst I have ever seen. I have been on the phone for 2 days now at least 5 hours and they first scheduled a repair with MODERN APPLIANCE SERVICE who said they would be here between 8 and 12 pm on Wed and at 11 pm on wed they called us to inform us it would be 7 days before they could have someone here, We called LG back again and again and now they will call us back when their scheduling dept finds someone to look at it. Our son has diabetes and has to keep his insulin cold and that's not happening and LG could care less. We are buying ice to keep it cold. No one has called us back and we have talked to with 3 managers so far and no one has called us back and we have no service date yet. Wonder how long this will go on? I am getting ready to call them again and spend today on the phone begging for help after spending $4000 on a Refrigerator.

This was a replacement from a Samsung that we really like but arrived damaged and the model was discontinued. The Samsung had the same features but with metal cooling liner in top and cooler drawer and better shelve space for taller items. It also had smudge proof stainless steel surface. Wish I would of kept with damage and with a damage refund price offered to me. Sorry
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought a Samsung a few weeks prior to buying the LG for our vacation home. I like the Samsung’s door in door feature better because the milk/lg. Pitcher space slides out for easy access. However, I like the LG feature of the extra drawer in the freezer. Great for organizing food. The 2 little compartments in the refrigerator are handy for cheese sticks and small cold snacks for grandkids (wish the kid was plexiglass and not tempered glass though). The design of the LG is far superior to the Samsung. Love how it is easy to replace the air filter and the water filters. Loving life with my new LG 29 cu. ft. refrigerator.
