Great lighting and other features.

Great Appearance and Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about a month ago. I didn’t have many options, because of space. This refrigerator has a nice updated look and provides me extra interior space even though it is almost the same size as my old one. Very happy with the purchase.

The lovely points about it is that no fingerprints show up and it is true to it's claim regarding that. However, we noticed that the left side will tend to slam shut due to the ice and the weight of it. The right side closes nicely and you really don't have to push it closed. Ok, now here is the not so good part. Two days ago, the whole refrigerator shut down. We believe that it is the compressor but we won't know until the repair person comes out. Which, by the way, will not be until the end of the month. So even though we purchased the extra warranty through the retailer, we are at the mercy of scheduling and have to wait three weeks for a repair. But I highly suggest to anyone who purchases this product to definitely buy the extended warranty. As an added note, this refrigerator is not equipped with a thermometer that indicates what the temperature is inside. It will only tell you what it is SET too. After doing much research on-line, we discovered that most refrigerators in the high-end category no longer have the feature of monitoring the temp. This is very unfortunate and we had to put a small thermometer inside.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is the best...it's sleek and quiet. It is the second one I have owned, the first one was the stainless steel not the slate. I like the slate much better and it doesn't show the finger prints like the stainless steel version. One very happy consumer!!

Great frig.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This LG frig replaced a 28-year-old frig that "died." I am happy with the available storage and like the freezer lighting. Our old frig did not have lighting in the freezer. We did not hook-up the ice maker; I really did not want an ice maker. This top freezer frig only was available with an ice maker. I just stack two ice trays underneath the built-in ice maker. I am sure I will save on energy costs by not having the ice maker running. This frig is much

Very pleased with the looks and features...and awesome that the front is not magnetic so my wife can't hog it all up but magnets work on the sides..
