The freezer door never shut properly, 2y last

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 2 years ago and the freezer door never shut properly, but the food was frozen anyway that it did not matter. Before two year it starting with a rattling and scraping noises when it is running. A refrigerator should not last two years.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought this a couple weeks ago and we absolutely love this LG. I've been looking at new refrigerators for a couple of years and after viewing the different features of the LG, we were sold. This refrigerator is huge, 30 cubic feet, and it has tons of shelf space and the door-in-door really comes in handy for keeping our beer, wine, sodas, OJ, milk, and everything else handy without opening the big door. One feature that sold us was the ice-maker built into the door (great feature) and three levels of freezer storage in the bottom freezer drawer, plus the extra ice storage bin for keeping extra ice on hand for large family gatherings or parties! It has already come in handy for our large 4th of July cookout last week! I highly recommend this refrigerator, you will not be sorry!

The two features I like best:
1) Door in Door - we keep milk, juice, and other often-used items in here. Very handy!
2) In-door Ice/water dispenser - never had one before and love this one.
Three things I would like worked on:
1) Allow me to raise the volume of the 'door open too long' alarm.
2) I'd like a light 'above' the water dispenser so I can see when my thermos is full.
3) Why isn't there a touch-up paint for the gun metal grey?

Purchased this a few weeks ago, so even though I’ve only had it a short time, I am enjoying how nice it runs quietly and keeps everything nice and cold. Bought it in the stainless steel finish, and my only complaint is that it easily leaves smudgemarks/fingerprints.
