[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good and spacious unit, but the compressor went out when it was 4 years old. LG did warranty the parts and labor but it's disappointing that nothing last anymore.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced a 2003 refrigerator with this one. What a difference! Quieter, noticeable uniform cooling of items, and my electric bill dropped by 50%.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Where to begin. We are very glad we purchased a 3 year extended warranty. Just after the LG warranty ran out so did the frig. It is finally working again after a tech madeb7 different visits to fix multiple problems. First it didn't cool or make ice. So he ordered all new parts for the compressor coils etc. Then after that he left and we had to call again for service because the water and ice didn't work. So he had to come out again to diagnose nand order parts. He returned changed out the parts and the water and ice still didn't work. So he ordered more parts and returned again. This process has taken nearly 2 months and multiple hours we had to rearrange our work schedule. To say we are disappointed is a huge understatement.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a second refrigerator for the garage that had lots of storage and was energy efficient. The LG LTCS24223S meets all of my requirements. It's spacious, has the right ratio of freezer space to refrigerator space, is quiet, and is energy efficient. And although I don't need the ice maker, the volume it occupies in the refrigerator is surprisingly small, so it does not diminish the storage capacity by any significant amount.
