This unit is almost 5 years old and was working great. Problems started with ice/water light broke. After that for about 3 month food in the fridge was getting bad too quickly. Then I day it was not cooling at all. Called LG and they replaced a lot of parts, but the unit need it more repairers. LG repair guy was coming back 3 times before all problems were resolved.

After two years of hating that, when the stimulus check came that was it. I heard good reviews about the LG brand and was thrilled with the large capacity size. I just wanted a basic freezer on top style as I have a big vegetable garden and like to freeze fruit and produce to enjoy in the winter. The stainless steel is gorgeous. I don't like the stainless steel doors but I was told that is the only way it comes, it needs a light on the top shelf otherwise that is the only complaint,I love the large meat drawer and the fruit and vegy drawers.
