Bought as a floor model 2 years ago consistent problems keeping temperature. Worse in the summertime when it’s hot. About to change gasket and see if that works

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator is the biggest top freezer I was able to find anywhere. The layout is very good. But there are few things I am not happy with. Firstly, the LED lighting is very poor. There are areas of the refrigerator that are in the dark. More lights should have been added. Secondly, the ice maker works very slowly. Empty the bin and you are without ice for hours.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced our 26 cu ft (other brand) model after 12 years with this unit. We were initially concerned about losing 2 cu ft of storage volume but found that the internal layout of this LG was such so much better designed that there really was no loss in space. Although the manual suggested keeping the cold button at a medium setting, the refrigerator part maintains 39 degrees with a lower temperature setting. Very happy with this choice!
