[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought 2 years ago and love the refrigerator. Unfortunately the in line compressor failed and had to be replaced. This model was not part of the recall for failed compressors from LG but the warranty covered the replacement. Hope that we get several more years of service as we really do like the refrigerator design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this top freezer refrigerator about 1 1/2 months ago after having a side by side for years. I have been very happy with it for the most part. It is very roomy in the refrigerator, bright lighting, good size vegetable and fruit drawers (which was a must for me because we eat a lot of fresh produce.) I like the pantry drawer to put things in that got "lost" in my previous refrigerators. It keeps things nice and cold. This model does not have a water filter, so I do miss that with my ice cubes sometimes. Funny to get used to not having a water dispenser but really didn't need it. The only caution is to be careful not to put produce or things that freeze easily at the back of the refrigerator because they will freeze a little. I think the manual says to leave a little air flow space. If you let the refrigerator door slam shut the freezer door can pop open a little and then close and cause a little frost on the surface of things, but if doesn't open if you close the door gently. I like the bins on the doors, but I do keep my milk on the top shelf of the fridge to make sure it stay cold enough. I'm glad I bought it overall for the space and organization.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this unit because it fit in the existing space and offered more storage, and it was only 3 inches deer and higher. It fits perfectly and without the outward handles it looks so much sleeker. So far so good on the operation and I don't expect anything to go wrong. I like the brand LG and they do more than just televisions because I have purchased their refrigerators, dishwashers and gas stoves in the past.

We love the design and features. Fortunately we had a five year warranty because in year 2 the electronic board had to be replaced and then in year 3 the compressor had to be replaced. We are in year 3 so hopefully that will be the end of the required repairs.
