The compressor went bad a few weeks ago but LG was ready to help. I called the store I bought it from for service and they advised to go to LG directly. They were at our house in a week and replaced the compressor at no charge. I wanted to be upset that it broke but LG’s quick action to fix it allowed me to continue to be a happy LG Customer.

First, the refrigerator was not cooling, the Ice maker shot down, then whole system shot down. It took forever to get the compressor replaced. And I lost all my groceries and meat and every thing else. Now, the Ice maker is not working again. That has been my experience with LG.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
