Based on my reading the compressor is a major problem with LG refrigerators.

We purchased another brand prior to your product and retuned it after five days as it’s performance was substandard!!
We are very pleased with the LG PRODUCT and expect it to be the very last that we will purchase due to our ages and projected life cycle.
