I had a new fancy refrigerator and it died within 3 years. Talked to the repair man and he said that the new ones have a mother board in them, which goes out . Best thing to buy is a good old fashion one without the motherboard. I like this one, it has so much room in it. But the freezer is kinda small.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new LG frig was installed in my home on August 14, 2021, so it has only been here for less than two weeks. I love it! The interior is well designed…someone actually sat in front of a big, upright, rectangular box and said to themselves: “if I was a casserole, a block of cheese, a bottle of juice or a carton of milk….where would I go??” I love how well-lit it is, so that is a plus as well. I hate the warning bell that apparently comes with all refrigerators nowadays, that you can’t turn off. I understand why it is included, but it takes more than 30 seconds with the frig door open to load your groceries, and people without kids can’t even turn it off! In this case, I think the warning chime is just annoying and contributes to our already noisy days. The other thing that I don’t like is that the plastic shelving on the inside doors is, well, attractive, but cheap! A friend of mine who has had the same frig for several years, told me how parts of this shelving has already broken off….so I am not looking forward to that eventuality. All in all, I am happy with my purchase, and am hoping that my frig and I have a lovely, uneventful relationship for the next several years. /;-))
