[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second time in 7 years that ourLG refrigerators have defective compressors. For such expensive appliances o can’t believe one has a problem in 3 years and the second new one problems in 4 years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ran into an issue where the linear compressor failed, lost food and had to go kitchen camping out of coolers four weeks, but,… I still like my fridge. LG warranted the repair and upgraded the compressor under the product update. 4weeks was a ling wait, but not surprising given today’s employment struggles. Once here, the LG tech was very effective.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works great, perfectly fine but it smudges easily and this might be silly but magnets don't stick to the front. I wish I'd known before I purchasing because I like putting magnets and a small white board on the freezer door. I can't with this fridge but other than that minor thing, it's a great fridge.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best features for this size fridge. I wanted LED lights in the freezer also in addition to fridge part. Only LG offered that light. The door bins are great, perfect size and closed bottom design. I hated the items falling off the fridge and freezer doors on my fridge that just died after 18 years because just a bar keep items on the door. There was always too much room under the bar to hold items on the door. Not so on LG! LG has a complete bottom part on the bins to hold everything in. This LTCS24223S version also has an ice maker pre-installed. Perfect for me. I got it just in time before the new model added a water dispenser and filter inside the fridge compartment. They take up valuable space. Thank God I did not wait. I keep this one in my garage to replace the previous Kenmore. It cooled down very well - look at my impromptu temp log I kept to see how fast it cooled. Very impressed so far. I read the previous compressor problems seems to have been fixed with an updated design in DEC2017.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LG refrigerator is a good size for a family, and is on energy consuming However the compressor went down without any warning is not expected on a new LG refrigerator However the customer service did outstanding job sent the next day the technician The technician had done excellent job too So was out of service for 3 days lost food for almost US $400.00 Now is running fine like new again
