Compressor quit working more than once

We bought it in 2019 and the compressor quit working twice and we lost all our food. We never did get it fixed after 4 months but LG did eventually pay us a decent price for the fridge. Dont ever use AE appliance repairs they never fixed it.

Happy to have my refrigerator/freezer back!

LG was able to service my needs within 5 days of my call! Here were some hiccups with scheduling but the service provided did a great job explaining the problem and taking care of the issues.
My biggest concern was the cost! Our refrigerator was less than 2 years old and the compressor and refrigerant went out! WHY?!? We had just gone grocery shopping so we lost A LOT of food and money for a family of 6! I would say with the cost of repair and the food lost it was over $1000! If LG knows there is a problem with these items why didn’t they do a recall so we wouldn’t have incurred such a loss! Disappointing to say the least.
