Lots of extra room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Found this larger then usual refrigerator and feel in love with it. We were looking for a refrigerator with a little more room. We found it in this fridge. Great shelves and lighting.

screaming ice maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ice maker sounds like a child screaming loudly. Works fine, just makes a lot of noise. Have to turn it off at night. The lights look great until you put your food in. Then you notice that there's no light in the back of the compartments.

Freezer shelf broke one hour after installation

Our freezer shelf broke after one hour of installation by a professional. We called within the hour and lg sent a replacement piece which arrived today. Well it’s the wrong shelf! I was on hold 15 minutes and then told I needed to speak to a different agent. Transferred and disconnected! With four young kids at home we don’t have time to sit on hold and need a fully useable unit!
This is obviously not the correct part for any piece of our fridge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Won’t shine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first silver appliance. I really wanted white but it was an extra $100. Imagine my consternation when I tried to clean the door after it was all filled up but the smudges just won’t wipe off no matter what I use to wipe it.

Love my refrigerator BUT....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my refrigerator for 1 and 1/2 years. I love the refrigerator, its features and its finish. BUT the gauge metal used in the freezer door seems to be substandard. I have a dent and two depressions in the that door already. Our normal household is two adults although we have grandchildren that visit probably 6 times a year.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this refrigerator a month ago and I'm very pleased with it. It has large capacity and is well lit inside. I have had no trouble with the temperature controls or the icemaker. The only negative thing I have to say is that the ice maker is unusually loud when filling with water but overall, I give this product an excellent rating.
