One of the largest top freezer you can purchase. Looks beautiful. No handles, so it is a nice space saver. Needs more interior light, is a little dark in the back of unit. Freezer light is nice and bright. Refrigerator temperature control is positioned too low and blocks tall bottles from being placed in the center back of the unit which is odd. Love the pantry drawer. As with all stainless steel appliances a dent remover should be included. Manual has many typos and grammatical errors. Website has wrong dimensions, they underestimate, so measure unit in store. Some dealers give the correct size on their web. Purchased 5 months ago.

Love this refrigerator, but!!!

Got this model less than 2 months ago. I have had the repair man here 5 times.
No one is able to fix our problem. The part that is supposed to lay flat between the two French doors will not work properly, if I only use the left door. Have to open both doors & close the left one softly, then close right side. If not, the part will go straight back into the frig. & you can feel the cold air escaping. Other than this, it is great.

After 2 months of use, I LOVE this refrigerator! Tons of usable space, and the door in door feature is so handy!
Wide shelves are such a treat, after having had a side-by-side for years! The drawers in the freezer hold an amazing amount of food, and everything is easy to see!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it in 11/2015. Nice looking and cooled product. I was happy BUT now less than 2 1/2 years later it does not cool to less than 52F, both in freezer and refr. Coils were cleaned and refr was defrosted. Still temperature is 52F+. I live in a rural area, 2 1/2 hrs from any refrigeration repair. So what do I do? I am very dissatisfied that this has only worked for 2 1/2 years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Told everyone how much I loved this refrigerator - the looks, storage, efficiency. Then one year and two days after purchase it stopped cooling altogether. Entire cooling mechanism must be replaced. Almost one month later, I still have no refrigerator - the warranty company and the repair company are useless. I should simply get a new one.

2 refrigerator failures in 2 years

The refrigerator and freezer have failed twice in 2 years, the first due to the ice build up in the freezer fan section, the second we don't know yet because they haven't been here to fix it yet and won't be for a week. We will not be purchasing another LG product.

Noisy, freezer door pops open.

I bought this 4 months ago, and the compressor made an ominous rattle every it shuts off. The freezer door never shut properly, and 2 visits by the dealer failed to correct it. The dealer replaced the whole refrigerator, and the second one is even worse! Louder compressor rattle, other rattling and scraping noises when it is running, and the freezer pops open every time the lower door is shut, no matter how gently. To top it off, the door alarm only works part of the time, so I don't always realize when the door is ajar, and some of my frozen food has been ruined. The dealer has offered a third replacement, but I am switching brands.
