HORRIBLE PRODUCTS, BLACK STAINLESS FINISH CHIPPING

Three years ago I purchased a new LG oven, fridge, dishwasher and microwave from Grand Appliance in Algonquin, IL. The black stainless finish on the oven, dishwasher and fridge is chipping off. The oven display no longer works and the dishwasher is making a ton of noise. I purchased the 5yr warranty so I will be calling to have the appliances repaired but I will NEVER by LG again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few years ago and even PC parts together ever cents just inferior product inside and out Siri dissatisfied and how many parts and pieces brand new they’ve thrown away trying to piece of hydrated together they could just brought me a new one.

Looks nice Holds up horribly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good looking refrigerator that covers many problems. First every time you open the door with the extra compartment the internal door swings open. The ice maker freezes over all the time and you have to thaw it out every couple of weeks and then the compressor went (Just one month before warranty expired) out and it was down for almost a month before they fixed it. So all in all I would never buy an LG again.

I love this unit, but it has issues

I appreciate having a wide refrigerator space for large pizza boxes, the bright lights inside, the shelves that slide, and the door within a door. However - the design of this unit has flaws and is subject to a class action suit. The compressor failed after a year and there is an issue in the ice maker - it doesn't keep that area consistently cold enough, so it will melt some, then freeze, and eventually turn into a giant iceberg. This is happening after getting a new ice maker installed.

Has Compressor problems

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thought we were compromising as inventory for a fridge this size and price range is limited. Purchased this one as old fridge was clearly failing, but we liked the capacity. Surprisingly, when we transferred all our items over we seem to have much more space! Love the middle sliding drawer for cold cuts, everyday items. Old folks don't like bending down for the crisper drawers. The clear condiment shelves are plus. General organization is great. Minor issues, we added some pull out bins in the freezer for better organization, icemaker a little loud (they all seem to be) and lighting in fridge slightly darker than our old one, but we're used to it now.

What I did not love was the fact that the compressor went out and you refuse to fix it. So I got 3 years out of an extremely expensive model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We loved this fridge at first. After having it for 2 years the compressor and motor went out and had to replace the fridge. They attempted to repair it 5 times before issuing us a partial refund.
