[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the size of the refrigerator and the fact that I have a ice maker. I just don’t like that if the door closes on its own then the freezer door opens by itself. The refrigerator is very roomy.
First the alarm is sounding constantly that a door is open. Now refrigerator is not cooling. Returning this asap!!

Since I bought this refrigerator the condenser has now gone out twice and the freezer and refrigerator started to have problems along with the ice maker. I am disappointed that I have had these issues in under 10 years. I'm afraid that if the condenser goes out again I will be thinking about getting a new refrigerator. I understand that these newer appliances do a lot but it's not much fun to have to throw out food and find a place for everything in it in order to get it fixed.

I bought this fridge about 2 1/2 years ago. I had a service call within the first few months and it took 6 times to fix same issue. I pulled the inside shelf to clean it and it dropped 4 inches to the floor and cracked. I then noticed how cheap the plastic is. The inside shelves also started cracking at corners I never even tried to remove them to clean. In another year I will just buy another fridge and it will not be lg. I recently bought a new oven and microwave and I didn't bother looking for a lg model same with electronics that I recently purchased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After ~2 1/2 years, the compressor on my LG fridge died - while I was out of town, of course! I contacted six different repair companies, and five of them told me that they no longer service LG because they break down frequently and the parts are very difficult to get. I was out of a fridge for 3 1/2 weeks before LG escalated my repair to get someone in to fix it. When it's working, I love it. When I didn't have a fridge for almost a month - not so much.

I bought this refrigerator about 5 years ago. Worked great for the first 3.5 years, then started to have cooling issue for about a year, freezer about 40F and refrigerator 50-60F from this summer, it was so annoying with the spoiled food/milk and soft ice-cream. Called for support and replaced couple of parts including the line compressor. After fix, it goes back to normal. When it works, it is great. It is spacious inside and lights properly, and it looks very nice both inside and outside. I never tried its wifi function, will probable try it now.
So if the key parts (such as compressor or condenser) of this product can last longer, I may say it is a great refrigerator and I would recommend it.

I have lost everything in my refrigerator and even went to stay somewhere else for the 2 WEEKS it was broken. DO NOT BUY!!!
