Compresor Failed

Refrigerator was purchased in 2017 and sadly the compressor failed after 5 years. The fridge itself was really nice but I don't want to replace it every 5 years.

Nice refrigerator, we bought what we wanted.

We took our time weighing out functionality,size, convenience, etc. So we got exactly what we wanted, and for 3 years it was fine,and we were fine with it. At 3 years the compressor went out, and left us without a refrigerator for 2 and a half weeks because post COVID it is hard to get a service person. During this time I found out that this is common problem with the LG brand. We lost about $400 worth of food, and lived out of ice coolers for over 2 weeks because of a known problem with the manufacturer. I own 6 LG major appliances in my home right now, but I won't buy the brand again because of this experience.

Terrible purchase

I bought my refrigerator a few years ago have had problems with the water and ice dispenser getting stuck. Turns out I'm not the only one this has happened to and today was the last straw when I really could not stop the water from flowing out and creating a minor flood in my kitchen. I was finally Able to figure out to press the lock switch and once I locked it the water stopped flowing. I then was able to figure out how to clean out the inside of the dispenser and eventually was able to unlock the lever. This is an absolutely horrible feature and I specifically wanted a refrigerator to dispense ice and water. What a terrible disappointment and waste of money!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Life is NOT Good- fringe broke and no call back

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fridge broke 3 weeks ago. The model is a part of a class action law suit so it’s a known problem. Cannot get LGTo call back for resolution. They need to stand behind their product. We are tired of calling with empty promises of a call back.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
