[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven’t known how to get a hold of you. Our refrigerator only worked for two weeks after it was fixed and it still doesn’t work or extremely disappointed and want it fixed.

Good, solid fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this fridge for over five years, and it has been great. The only problem was an ongoing rattle that got progressively louder and more annoying. It took three times pulling the fridge out and adjusting lines in the back before it finally stayed quiet permanently. There have been no other issues.
I initially thought the door in a door was stupid and a waste of space, but we use it constantly.
It is annoying that they charge so much for replacement filters, but other than that, we are very happy.

this is the worst refrigerator i have ever owned.problems from day one,now ice is forming on bottom of freezer.there is a hoars frost on food.i have moved food to another freezer,keeping only small amounts in refrig freezer.the door gasket has been replaced.of course the warranty has since expired,now we are stuck with this junk.never again will i buy this brand product.

Breaks in less then 3 years!

I bought this refrigerator less than 3 years ago, the compressor in the seal system broke. LG replaced the compressor.However due to the faulty compressor, a leak went into the ice maker, now they won't fix my ice maker because that has nothing to do with seal system according to them , however my ice maker was working completely fine unit the compressor went out, now I have to dish out another few hundred dollars if I want to have ice. I spent thousands of dollars on this refrigerator and in less than 3 years I am having to deal with issues. Call me crazy but when you spend that amount of money on a product you don't expect it to go out in such short of time. I will never buy another LG product and will also let everyone I know.

This is the best refrigerator that I bought by far

The LG brand has always been reliable to our family. This refrigerator has a lot of space inside and we love that. The refrigerator will beep at you to let you know that a door is open and it is very quiet when it is running. We have had this refrigerator for two months now and we can't complain.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use
I would recommend this to a friend!

LG Makes Horible Refrigerators

I HAD an LG Fridge and my mother had this specific model. Mine stopped cooling 3 times in the 5 years I had it. Known defect so they fixed it for free twice but did nothing for the lost food. My mother has had this fridge for LESS than 3 years and it has already broken twice. Again, apparently a KNOWN issue to the internet but not LG. She fought with them tooth and nail to get it repaired for free and they wouldn't budge. So now after less than 3 years she's trashing a very expensive fridge never to buy ANYTHING LG again. Good job LG, HORRIBLE customer service and satisfaction.

Great Frig!

We are very happy with this refrigerator and enjoy the large capacity. The top doors are a little noisy in closing and one has to be a bit careful to close the door-in-door fully. The ice maker has a rather small capacity, but the ice storage bin in the freezer works well and definitely helps. The door-in-door feature is very useful and I think it must save energy quite a bit.

Too dark inside-returned it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't believe people say the lighting is good. Maybe mine was missing some lights. It had two LED strips at the front side edges of the fridge compartment. Looked great in the store, but at home with food inside (not even very much food) the light was blocked and the shelves were dark. I even tried using battery-operated motion-sensor lights, but they didn't work in the cold. I also sometimes had a problem with the freezer door popping open when the fridge door was closed; one night I didn't notice it and the freezer door was ajar a half-inch in the morning with frost on the bottom edge. Despite that, I tried to get used to it because I like the sleek, easy-clean exterior, the quiet operation and the spacious layout. But the lighting was a deal-breaker for me. I returned it after 30 days to Lowe's.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
