Outstanding refrigerator... once you get it in

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been a workhorse for us. Family of 5, huge capacity, filled to the brim and everything in freezer and refrigerator always cold. Fortunately no problems with the ice maker either. The water and air filters add to cost of ownership but always keep smells out of the fridge and water tasting great.
My big issue was getting it installed. The measurements to to of case say 68 & 3/8, however the measurement according to my tape measure is in excess of 68 & 3/4, that’s over a 1/4 of an inch where measurements matter! What they don’t tell you is that the unit “bulges” at the top and sides beyond the corner measurements. For me to get it to fit, I needed to pay my carpenter $1000 to raise the cabinets to 69 & 1/2 and barely got it in! Be careful of measurements!!
The fact that this expensive refrigerator cost me another grand to install made me very upset but in retrospect this unit has been solid. Glad I kept it and didn’t get another one with one of the many problems described on other models in the market.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When our old refrigerator refused to get cold enough to keep ice frozen, I researched to find the best replacement. This one had many positive reviews and although there will always be those negative reviews to give you pause, you have to figure a certain number of defects are just normal outcome of modern manufacturing.
I love the roominess and the simplicity of this refrigerator! Yes, stainless steel exterior is a pain to keep clean, but I found microfiber towel to do the job with just water. I hope this will last me as long as our old refrigerator.

The Glide N Access shelf banishes rummaging for the jars we store there, and the door in a door minimizes cool air loss, a great idea. That split shelf can give us instant room for a tall jug or two. I could go on and on, but the ability to customize will give us flexibility for anything we'll ever need to store in the future. Give your design team a bonus!

I got this refrigerator when I purchased my house and after using it for 2 years it stopped cooling. I reached out to @LGUS via twitter and in the same day they got me a next day LG technician who changed the compressor and fixed it and it has been working well for one week already.

I’m enjoying Fact that it’s so much easier to find the food in the refrigerator with it being so spacious. The icemaker is so much easier to lift than the old whirlpool I had before.
