Spacious, bright lighting, cheaply made

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this refridgerator 2/19. The refridgerator stopped working totally this month. Cooling stopped, ice stopped, water stopped. I spent hours dealing with LG on the phone and the ONLY repairman in the area was awful and reeked of smoke. I will NEVER buy another LG product.

Broke in less than 2 years

Beautiful refrigerator. Broke within 2 years. Linear Compressor went up. LG sent someone to fix multiple times however it still does not work. It has been 3 months of calling LG and nothing fixed.

Terrible lifespan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this fridge for 2yrs and 3 months and it stopped cooling. My previous fridge lasted over 10yrs and when dealing with LG customer service it is a joke I have been without and fridge and freezer in my house for pushing 2wks and have not heard anything about a repair. So much for a so called warranty And good customer service. I will not be purchasing any more LG products

Not Good At all

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator in May of 2015. Had to replace a fan in just 2 years because some part of the freeze was too cold and some not cold enough. After six months same thing happened. I called LG at that point and the technician came out and fixed some software issue and told us that if we had not called it would keep happening. after two years later yesterday all the ice cream in my freezer is melting and milk in my freeze went bad. Tried resetting but did not work. Called LG and they are sending technician out tomorrow to look at it. I hope they do not charge me. Because 5 year old very expensive fridge should not have this many problems to begin with.
So far customer service is good and they have been taking care of the problem and fixing but it is too much hassle when fridge does not work. It disrupt your entire household in many ways and you have to stop doing everything else and start calling and googling what the issue is with your fridge.

Compressor died

I’ve owned this refrigerator for 4 1/2 years and the compressor died. I lost everything in my fridge and most of my freezer. Thankfully the compressor is under warranty but I’ve been without it for weeks. First someone had to come out to make sure it was a warranty problem, then order the part, then come back for repair. That part I’m still waiting to have happen.

Refrigerator freezer stop cooling

I am old school, I have had Refrigerators that cool and freeze for over 20 years with no maintenance problems. Why does a top of line Refrigerator like LG stop working at 6 years? Now, my next Refrigerator will not be an LG. My family love the LG Refrigerator up to now. But after this event having no refrigerator for three weeks losing food it make your life very inconvenient. However, your technician was very good he repair Refrigerator very fast and appear very knowledgeable he did very professional job. In the future if you can make your product last people will purchase them and have confident in them but for now I don't.
