Control Panel issue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In just 3 years the plastic covering is peeling off of the control panel and black is showing on it. After 3 days on the phone with customer service they told me they would not repair it as this is considered a "cosmetic issue". I expect to have a beautiful looking refrigerator after spending $3,600. I am very disappointed in LG :-(

I purchased this from Costco on 03/2019 to replace my old one. After visually comparing between different major branch names in same size, features, and price, I went for LG. Generally, outside looks great, inside looks large, and I like most is the ice maker is not thick. I have a small size family so I don't need much ice (this is one of the reason I go for LG).

Love my refrigerator but I have had it for 3 years and have had to have a repair man come and take care of the frost buildup on the left side of the refrigerator. Year one, year two and now it is frosting up again.
