[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I bought this refrigerator it required 4 repairs. The motherboard, the compressor, the ice maker, and the sealed air system.
I lost substantial amounts of food 3 times.
This last time just happened a month ago and it turns out I'd have to spend a ton of money on the repair because the compressor, which was just replaced 2 years ago, broke again.
I'm done with LG.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It was simply a horrible experience in that we had to gain a letter of approval, wait two weeks for the compressor and then an entire weekend for the installation. We lost over $1,000 in food. We were so upset and yet at the time of purchase, we loved it. The backup of the product was extremely poor and inefficient.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had it for 3 years and love it!! Only issue was two weeks ago and the compressor went out. LG repaired And no out of pocket expense for me. The repairman did say all new refrigerators have compressor issues but said LG was the worst. Yikes!!!
