[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It worked well for almost 2 years and 9 months after purchase, but then the compressor gave out and needed to be replaced under warranty. Then 9 months after that the condenser gave out and needed to be replaced, again under warranty. If something else major gives out after it is out of warranty then I will probably replace the whole refrigerator.

My refrigerator is not even 5 years old and already had 2 non cooling events which costed me $$ in lost food and repair fees. There is a lawsuit in that regards but nothing has been reimbursed yet.

I've had this fridge for 2.5 years. It has started to malfunction. It does not hold a constant temperature in either the refridgerater section, or the freezer section. The temperature fluctuates between 36 degrees to 56 degrees in the fridge section. In the last three days it has been running between 36 degrees and 45 degrees. I can't trust putting any items in the freezer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned this refrigerator for 30 months and have been pleased with the flexibility of the storage compartments and shelving. I can happily say that the ice maker has been more reliable than most. My main issue has been the compressor. It failed two weeks ago, and I have struggled to get warranty repair service. If LG improves their customer service, I would rate it 4 stars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator about three years ago and have had trouble free service. There is plenty of space and a good size freezer. The compressor failed about two weeks ago, we called LG, and repairs were done with no charges, promptly and by a courteous knowledgeable technician. LG fulfilled their obligations for the warranty service professionally.
