[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this LG French Door Refrigerator in 2019 and have been enjoying its excellent quality without any issues until the summer of 2021, when it stopped working all of a sudden. There were so many negative comments about LG's technical service online, but my personal experience turned out to be a pleasant one. LG's customer service sent a technician within a week and fixed the problem! It needed a new compressor and the technician was a super efficient professional. Ever since then, it's running beautifully again. Thank God I didn't pay a dime with LG's generous warranty.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We returned from vacation to find that the compressor had failed and all of our food was spoiled. It took 3 weeks to get it fixed and we had to pay for service locally- even though there is an extended warranty due to the repeated compressor failures.The authorized service provider would have been an additional week and was out of our area. I tried for a week to get a prior authorization to use the local provider but this never arrived. That being said, and now that it is repaired, I love the refrigerator and the features. I didn’t think that I would buy lg again, but our local serviceman said that all of his appliances are lg and he recommends them. I will have to think carefully before my next appliance purchase. I just hope that the repair lasts!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this refrigerator for about three years and love the space it offers but recently the compressor and condenser failed and had to be replaced (covered under warranty) which left us with no fridge for almost a week. The ice dispenser also is not working and this was not fixed with the repair (makes ice but will not dispense).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this refrigerator for 3 years. It has had non-stop problems for the last two years. The ice maker shuts off for day at a time.bit also developed a leak about a year ago, so once a day I have to grab the giant clump of ice that has formed from the water dripping down onto the pieces of ice and then freezing into a clump. The refrigerator is not dependable. AT ALL. It will warm up for a few days, maybe a week, and then cool off, and then freeze everything in the back. I researched and found that my model is included in a law suit against LG for defective compressors, so I am currently waiting for mine to be fixed.
