[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had this fridge for about 3.5 years, boy am I glad we bought an extended warranty. The compressor gave out and we were on vacation. Lost all the food, and our wood floors were damaged but LG was kind enough to extend our full warranty to 5 years. Apparently they’ve had some issues with compressors but have worked out the issues. Now as for the fridge I love how well lit up it is on the inside. Makes things look so clean and keeps you from “losing” items in the dark. The water and ice dispenser is a bit odd to function. Everyone spays water everywhere trying to figure it out, but I’ve gotten used to it. I hope this fridge continues to function well, well into the future.

It just turned 4 years old and has already had the condenser and compressor replaced. However, that didn't fix the real problem which is a failing microprocessor. Unfortunaltely, the microprocessor isn't available because no one is making parts due to Covid. The machine will be scrapped!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At the 2 year, 4 month mark, the compressor stopped working. Lost all the contents. LG did replace the compressor and other parts, so the refrigerator is up and running again. We were without a refrigerator for almost two weeks. Huge inconvenience.

Quiet, but has failed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator is exceptionally quiet and I barely notice that is running. It is designed well also, with the interior space well laid out, and the ice maker not taking up much space inside. However, this refrigerator recently failed. It is a little over 5 years old, so I'm not happy about it failing. I don't know what the issue is, but with the compressor issues that LG has been having I suspect it is a compressor issue. I really liked this refrigerator, but only lasting 5 years before a failure is not great.
