Terrible Refrigerator

I’ve had nothing but problems with this refrigerator freezing up. Stops making ice, freezes under the lunch meat tray...several times. Put in a new fan, and other parts but still the same problem. Now the back of the refrigerator is cracking. Makes really, really loud noises. I have to move all my food to my old refrigerator in my garage and defrost for 4 days. My daughter bought the same LG model and is having the same problem as I am having.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this refrigerator along with a dishwasher, oven, and microwave oven in the because of the black stainless color. We had compressor problems with the refrigerator twice and waited long periods for repairs. Recently the blower motor that cools the ice maker stopped working. The motor that drives the ice cube dispenser and crusher doesn't work. Gasket have been replaced in the past and need to be replaced again. Even getting parts is very time consuming.

Completely unreliable.

In just under 5 years the ice maker failed, the water line supplying the ice maker developed a leak within the door that required the door be replaced, ice permanently formed behind one of the produce doors that kept the drawer from closing completely, and finally the compressor failed.

I bought 4 1/2 years ago and didn’t expect to have issues . I owned other fridges before and lasted 10 plus years . Bad product.

I love the look of this fridge. It's absolutely beautiful. But there have been major repairs the last two years, and I'm fed up. I won't buy another LG. Period.
