[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about 6 years ago. Loved the refrigerator until all of a sudden stopped working over night and everything spoiled! The warranty replaced the compressor and it was replaced in a couple of days. The repair person said a new designed compressor should last many years. We will see. I love the refrigerator so I hope it’s true. The warranty also paid for the service call and an upgrade to the refrigerator plus a little money to replace the food that was spoiled ($100) which barely covered all the freezer food. Overall, it’s working great now, but I’m super vigilant to check it every once and awhile.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the LG refrigerator 4 years ago for the home I just purchased. I had thought I bought a quality refrigerator. Unfortunately, the compressor recently died. It had to be replaced. Thankfully, LG covered the repair under warranty. But, you don't expect a "quality" appliance to die after 4 years.

Broke after 3 years :(

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this model 3 years ago. It was working fine until yesterday. I woke up to leakin water all over the floor and the fridge stopped staying cool. Good thing we have a freezer in the garage to relocate our frozen foods. But we had to throw out other stufr such as milk and cheese...Looked up online and realize LG models had major issue and got some lawsuit on compressor. I wish I had known earlier. Make sure you guys buy a fridge that lasts more than 3 years, don't waste your money!

I bought few year ago and am so happy that i did , great feature , in side out side look nice with LED light and easy clean , the water filter is easy to replacement .set the temperature is nice easy ,
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this 2 years and 2 months ago. Does the job. About 2 years in, the compressor died. Apparently there was a programming issue that cause the compressor to overstroke. This cause the compressor to go out. Fortunately, an LG technician was close by and able to full repair. Great work! The in-door water is a little clunky, and kids often miss…this is only a minor knock on the performance of this unit.
