Compressor Failed and multiple issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this fridge a little over five years ago and every 2 years something has gone wrong with it. Fans, main board in the fridge and now the compressor has gone bad. Will LG stand behind their products?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nothing but problems with new refrigerator broke down three times dryer broken down four times washer once stove broken once and had to buy a brand new one couldn’t repair it . Very disappointed in the quality of your products. Your service techs were very cooperative and knowledgeable .

This refrigerator failed after 4.5 years! The compressor had to be replaced. Then I found out that this model is known to have design flaws and there is a class action suit against LG. Don't buy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this fridge. The layout is great, it looks great, and always keeps my food fresh. Unfortunately the compressor died within 4 years of purchase. LG was great about repairing it for free, but all my food was trashed by the time they made it out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought our new home two years ago and the kitchen came with new and beautiful LG stainless steel appliances. They are smart and originally I very was happy. Then the compressor in the refrigerator died. No refrigerator/freezer for SIX WEEKS!!!!! This issue was apparently NOT NEW!! BAD COMPRESSORS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED IN REFRIGERATORS FOR AT LEAST THE PAST 3 YEARS. The new compressors are NOT manufactured by LG SO THEY ACTUALLY WORK. The repair company was amazing though, they were my saviors. They inspected the refrigerator and immediately knew what the problem was. The compressor was ordered that day but it took several weeks to for the repair company to receive (another ongoing LG issue). BTW the repair company that came out is the ONLY company within a 200 mile range that works on LG appliances. I asked the other companies why that was and they said they will not work with LG because it takes too long to receive parts which actually makes the repair companies look bad.

Three year fridge

Bought three years ago, failed at 3 years 2 months. Very dissatisfied and disgusted. It's been fun feeding a new family of three (4 month old baby) out of a mini fridge while I try to locate a fridge on back order. Would not and will not recommend.
