[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have needed to replace the compressor twice, among other repairs. Two weeks ago, lost a whole freezer and refrigerator of food again! Needless to say, no repair required, just a brand new refrigerator, NOT AN LG!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Four years into this and the cooling system failed requiring a repair that spanned two days. Lost significant amount of food and was only reimbursed for $200 (not received yet). In addition, the finish smudges quite easily and was worse for the wear after the repair. Not much to recommend—I would have preferred being given the cost of the repair and scrapping the unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had our refrigerator for just over 2 years. It’s been a great appliance and we’ve been really pleased with everything about it. Unfortunately, we had a major issue. Coming from a facility maintenance background, I know that no matter how great things are, sometimes they break. Well the compressor on the unit blew and was totally unusable. I called customer service and they were absolutely great to work with. A technician came and replaced the compressor and everything is working great again. For me, this was so reassuring just knowing how LG stood behind their product and how well they took care of my situation. I would highly recommend LG.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this 4 years ago when we remolded the kitchen. Generally been very pleased with the features. The design of the water dispenser could be improved if the water dispenser was under the light. Unfortunately the compressor failed. We were without a refrigerator for 2 weeks. We discovered that there is a class action lawsuit involving this refrigerator. The repair was covered but the future is uncertain due to the compressor. The next time it fails we will have to by a new refrigerator. To be fair to the consumer, the compressor, since it is a known issue should be covered for as long as you own the refrigerator. Very disappointed, regret the purchase
