[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved my unit! Worked great till it didn't! No complaints, until almost the five year mark when it stopped working. LG was speedy with coordinating repairs. Ultimately the unit couldn't be saved. They are sending me a check which will put a small dent towards the cost of my new unit! Costs have gone up 30% since I last bought. Overall I would buy a LG again

But it suffers from what seems to be a LG unique issue i.e. the compressor crapping out after a few years (less than 6 in our case). So even if LG pays for the parts, we'll be out of a few hundreds after repair, not counting not having a fridge for a while .
I would not recommend the product until this compressor issue is addressed (I would otherwise).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fridge is nice. Easy to use, counter depth and normally works just fine. However the compressor first died about 3 years into ownership. Thankfully we had bought an extended warranty which covered everything. Then 2 years later, the compressor died again! LG has a 10 year warranty on the compressors so they replaced the compressor and we paid for labor. So kudos to LG for sticking by their products but there is no way that a fridge should go through 2 very expensive compressors in 5 years. We're going to switch out this fridge before year 7. Bottom line - find a different fridge to buy.
