Also the Ice and water dispenser is a terrible design. You can't get water with out it splahing the exterior of the outside SS, which is very hard to clean without streaks.

Good design but bad compressor gets a fair rating

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good design with the ice maker which makes enough for everyday use but need to make ahead for any gatherings and bottom freezer having three compartments to organize items. Did not expect my compressor to stop working after 3 years while I was on vacation but greeted with a smell on entering my home. This was on a Thursday night, called the next morning, and got an appointment with their service person for Wednesday who promptly replaced the compressor and was very nice. The company does not supply a deodorizer for the smell that stays with the refrigerator so I will be reminded every time I open the door what happened. Maybe if I had registered the frig timely, I may have been notified of the bad compressor.

Looks great never a problem until May 26th water leaking out of the front of the frig and running down every place. Sadly it took 46 days for LG to fix the issue after they finally replaced the compressor as I said from the beginning. The most frustrating experience we have every been thru. My ratings are for when we purchased the appliances

Although some feel a counter depth unit won't hold enough "stuff" we have found it to be just right. The freezer has three separate storage areas so it's always easy to find what we are looking for.

I expect all my appliances to last around 10 years as I take very good care and maintain them appropriately. When this appliance needed a new compressor after only 3 years of use, I was very disappointed. Then LG sent me a 5 star technician to replace the compressor and now all is great again.
