We loved this refrigerator right up until it completely failed. Compressor failure. Two weeks of calling to get a repair person. Waiting another week to see IF they can fix it. Wonderful without a refrigerator for a month. No local repair shop will even look at it.

My refrigerator has leaking water line in french door, it freeze the ice maker in the door.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this particular refrigerator mainly because of its smaller footprint and the ten year warranty on the compressor. If it fails within 5 years, both parts and labor are covered. After five years, you pay just labor. Seems fair. With respect to functionality, it serves all are needs beautifully. My wife is handicapped and uses a lot of ice. We never run out. Finally, while we did have one repair issue, we used an LG technician and he knew his stuff. Great guy. Nice, clean, efficient...what more can you ask for.

I was lucky to have Casey come to fix the ice maker, freezer and fridge not working. He was very professional and a nice man as well. Got everything up and running in approximately 2 1/2 hours.

WE STARTED EXPERIENCING DIFFICULTY WITH THE COOLING OF OUR REFRIGERATOR ABOUT FOUR MONTHS AGO. BY THE TIME I REALISED THAT IT WAS A COMPRESSOR PROBLEM, THE FIVE YEAR WARANTEE HAD EXPIRED . WHEN I CALLED LG AN EXPLAINED THE DIFFICULTY , THEY WERE KIND ENOUGH TO HONOR THE ORIGINAL WARANTEE . A SERVICE COMPANY WAS CALLED IN BY LG , PLATINUM PLUS, AND THEY REPLACED THE COMPRESSOR. I AM VERY GRATEFUL TO LG FOR THIS COURTESY
