[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased our frig five years ago and have loved it. The condenser did go out, but we had it replaced under warranty and it is working great again.
We had to get a new refrigerator quickly when the previous one stopped working. We were drawn to this one because it was the right size for our space and had more storage space than otherwise comparable models. We really like the door within the door for easy access. The craft ice function is pretty neat even though it’s not a necessity. Our only complaint is that it took several days before the water from the dispenser became cold. But overall we love how efficient, functional, and stylish our new refrigerator is.

And the front of the fridge is not real stainless steel but stainless steel colored. Difficult to clean. That said I am happy with the size and the amount of food I can put in the fridge as well as the freezer. Will I get another when the time comes? Yes but not an LG

This unit has tons of space for storage and lots of moveable shelves and bins to accommodate lots of large items. Our one complaint is the icemaker bin continues to freeze up. I have replaced the icemaker itself (with a genuine LG part) with no luck. I even had a certified LG repairman come out to fix the ice maker. He thawed out the clump of ice, disassembled the entire unit and reassembled. 1 month later, the problem returned. I have since done the same thing 2 times, but cannot seem to find/solve the problem.
I have had the refrigerator for a few years the ice maker has gone out twice and the condenser once. After the condenser was fixed it just doesn’t get as cold as it used to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WE HAVE HAD THIS UNIT A FEW YEARS AND ITS BEEN GREAT NOT A PROBLEM AT ALL UNTIL THE COMPRESSOR WENT OUT. CALLED LG AND STARTED THE WARRANTY PROCESS. THEY DON'T HAVE AN LG TECH IN MY AREA AND HAD A HARD TIME FINDING A LOCAL INDEPENDENT TECH THAT WAS WILLING TO WORK ON AN LG. FINALLY FOUND SOMEONE THEY DID GREAT WORK AND GOT US FIXXED UP. TALKED WITH A COUPLE GREAT LG CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS BUT IN ALL WAS NOT IMPRESSED WITH THE OVERALL OUT COME OF THEM FINDING SOMEONE TO WORK ON IT. HAD TO FIND REPAIR SERVICE MYSELF.
