We bought the fridge 2018 and we are not very happy about the quality of the compressor and fans of the fridge. Dec 2022 first the cooling fan stopped working and after a week fridge compressor went out spoiling food items reserved for Christmas dinner. I like the fridge but seems that it might require costly repairs every few years, so I am not very happy with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Out frog is 6 years old and when it go delivered there was a problem with the foot finish and LG replaced it. Then the film over the light feature on the front of the frog somehow got moisture under one corner. Then in the ladt4 months the compressor and sealed system died and when all was replaced it was found that the circuit board wasn’t working. As of yesterday it was replaced and seems to be working now. I hope it continues to work as some of the warranted will be expiring.

Great warranty service, after 4 years our LG refrigerator wasn’t cooling at correct temperature. LG service tech was awesome and replaced several parts at no charge for parts or labor.
I've had this fridge 5 years now and it has died for the last time. I've had 4 total food losses due to compressor failure and other software related issues.
What I like: -Great looking fridge -Good capacity for a counter depth -Air filter always kept smells down -Great slimline ice maker -Smart storage layout -Great tasting water with LG brand filters
What I didn't like: -4 total food losses due to hardware / software failure -Compressor was quite noisy even when brand new -Compressor stopping when opening a door can't be good for the life of the compressor
I loved this fridge and I tried to stick with it, but 5 failures in 5 years is just too much. There's a lot that LG does very well, but this was not my experience. Thankfully LG worked quickly during the warranty period to get me back up and running. Maybe I'll come back around to LG appliances in the future, but I need a break.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The warranty backed repair team replaced the condenser same day just before Christmas. No food spoiled and Christmas Eve dinner was a success.
It was broke 50% of the time and couldn’t find anyone to keep it running. Terrible refrigerator

I have owned this product for 5 year, but it has been a problem every year with the cooling system. I just had the compressor changed. Hope that would solved the issue. Other than that love my refrigerator.
Only purchased 4 years ago and already compressor died??? So disappointed in this fact.
