It was great until two weeks ago. Completely stopped working one day. Have been without a fridge for almost two weeks and they cannot get the parts here for another 10 days. Very unhappy. I’ve heard this is a known issue with LG, yet they don’t fix it.

After 4.5 years, this refrigerator has not lived up to our expectations. I have already had to have a new compressor installed and now the ice maker has stopped working. Disappointed.

I bought this unit about 2 years ago. Love the layout of the refrigerator. Beautiful appearance but it stopped working after only 2 years of use. I had the appliance repairman, come out and look at it. He said that it was not worth fixing that this refrigerator is one of his most commonly repaired units. Evidently my compressor is shot and it has a leak in the system so the repair of the unit is more than the refrigerator is worth. I’m disappointed in the quality of the unit

Bought my fridge in 2019. Love it. Wanted the most inside space with a moderate footprint to fit in the kitchen. This one is perfect. Shelves and drawers are great, everything adjustable. Ice maker keeps up with a family of 5. 4 years mark the compresser went out. Called LG customer service. A service call was made by LG to a local repair company. They were able to be out within 7 days to replace the compressor. All repairs, parts, and labor were covered by LG's warranty.

I absolutely love my refrigerator. The ice and water on the front is so convenient.

I saved my money to purchase all new LG refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and gas stove in Black stainless quite a chunk of change. I have had a new door installed in refrigerator because of ice maker problem and a compressor also dishwasher had problems I am very upset only 4 years old.

We bought this fridge in 2019. Overall it’s a good fridge. The ice maker has issues periodically, but the big one, the compressor went out all at once with no warning at only 4 1/2 years old! Our last fridge was right at 40 years old! It went out when we kept having power surges and outages with Evergy. That’s when we bought this fridge. Lost ALLLL of our food and I had just went grocery shopping the day before. Hoping and praying this compressor lasts!!!!
