I love the adjustable shelves and drawers that can be used for produce, deli or meats. Easy to use controls are a bonus. The freezer has great space and shelves that allow you to see all products.

Four years ago due to a design flaw ice formed behind one of the vegetable drawers and resulted in failure of a fan and stopped the refrigerator from operating. Thawing of all the ice was the quick fix. Two years ago the same thing happened and a panel was replaced with a new design panel. This year the compressor failed. The repair was very expensive.

This was our first icemaking refrigerator and we were very pleased with the output and features. Our first service call occurred after having the unit for 7 years. Service man Timothy B. was efficient, checked out every possible issue, and completed the work expertly.
The compressor went out after 4 years and had to be replaced. A year later, there was a problem with the cooling and the refrigerant had to be replace. It was very difficult dealing with LG customer service.

We purchased this back in Aug 2019, worked great and still does. However a few months ago the compressor went out, but LG was on it and under warranty was repaired and has been working just fine, thanks LG

Had it for 6 years and love it. Unfortunately we had to replace the compressor after 6 years. Compressor was covered but the labor was very costly. My recommendation is to go with basic model
