Great fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love our fridge. Well, it is kinda crazy that for counter depth fridge, you pay more for less space, but that's not specific to LG. All these comments I've read about things breaking etc., (hope I'm not jinxing myself here) seem odd. We've had ours for about 8 years and love it... mostly. Again, my gripes are space concerns related to counter depth fridges so not LGs fault there.

Awful experience

Terrible. Ice dispenser died in less than a year. Interior trim so poorly designed, thorough cleaning very difficult. Authorized repair locations refuse to work on LG refrigerators. Drain plugged dumping water on lower shelves. Will never buy any type of LG Electronics.

Great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has served us faithfully for 7 years. But the compressor recently went out. I wasn't aware that I had to keep the dust off of it, lesson learned and will clean it regularly.
Otherwise, it has served us well!
I really appreciate the warning beeps if a door does not close all the way!

Worked Great, Until it Didn't.

The refrigerator came with the house we bought approx. two and a half years ago. It worked fine until the compressor went out. Hope that getting it fixed will allow it to last longer overall.

Short life & no one will service LGs. Don't buy!

We've had our refrigerator for ~6 years with problems throughout. Ice build-up required service several times. We're now having issues with the icemaker, and no one (including the servicer LG recommended) will service LG refrigerators any more.
