After 6 1/2 yrs of use, the compressor died. I didn't even make a warranty claim because I didn't want another piece of LG equipment.

I bought this fridge in 2018. It has broken down twice in 4 years due to shoddy workmanship. Do not recommend this product.

The refrigerator is about 8 years old and shelves should not break. I have another refrigerator in my second house not LG and no problem best design and quality

Much to my surprise it was under warranty and the representative was extremely helpful in scheduling a repair. The repairman was very professional and replaced the compressor and responded to all my questions and concerns.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the counter depth refrigerator and the fit was perfect! We've had it a few years now and unfortunately the compressor stopped working. Since it was under warranty it was covered 100%. Not only was the compressor covered but we were reimbursed for most of the food inside. I was concerned with the noise I was hearing every time it turned on and was going to give it a couple of days to adjust before I called about it. By day 3 it adjusted because I no longer hear it turning on any more! The quietness of the refrigerator was one of my favorite things about it. Along with that the size and room inside is perfect.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few years ago and it’s been a very nice addition to our kitchen. We always get complements when we have guests. Plenty of room in the freezer too and the drawer makes it real nice for commonly used items.
