I Would Never Recommend This Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Compressor went out in under two years. The part is covered by warranty but you will still have to pay hundreds of dollars in service charges to have the part replaced. It makes a person wonder how much of LG business is derived from these service charges.
Pros: Style/Design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Defective one was delivered. It stops working every a few hours then I need to turn it off and on again to make it work again. Repair guys had to keep coming to fix it. Really painful and regret that I bought this. Want to return.

Loving our new fridge, but wait...RUST in 2 weeks?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Organization is top-notch on our counter depth armoire fridge. Spacing seems very intuitive and logical. Love the three drawer system in the freezer drawer especially that the top drawer stays shut upon opening. The entire fridge is well lot and so quiet. Cold water and ice through the door dispenser in the middle of our texas Sumer is fantastic! We have been thrilled however, the steel is a bear to clean and hasn't responded well to usual stainless steel cleaning methods. Additionally the biggest issue giving me pause in all of my excitement is a group of rust spots cropping up on the side of stainless steel door of our unit. It was fine upon arrival inspected thoroughly and all was great. But wait...2 weeks in while wiping it down I found RUST??? The spots seem to be growing. Hoping LG has a quick and aimiable solution to this issue.

I bought the LG refrigerator, model #LFXC24726S in April 2017. It's only been 6 months and the seal system just went out - no cooling for refrigerator or freezer. I have owned a few refrigerators but most last at least 10 years, not 6 months.

Total Unit Failure; Less Storage Capacity
on June 26, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased in Dec 2015. Nice and quiet. Well lit inside, but space in the refrigerated portion is inhibited by shelving that requires a great deal of real estate between the rear and sides of the interior and the actual storage. When empty, it provides the illusion of much more usable space. I estimate we lose about 20% of the viewable space for storage. Also, the entire unit crapped out yesterday; all food went bad, refer and freezer portions even though the door still states 36 degrees refrig and -4 degrees freezer. Terrible design; should either state actual interior temperature or at least provide a FAILED signal like when leaving the door open. Geee, really?? And I'm not a scientist. I suspect all newer models also do not provide this "gee, what an idea" failure warning as well - too bad, and bye, bye over $200 worth of food (during a pandemic).

Wish we had ordered something else

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Less than a year after purchase, the interior froze and the freezer stopped working. We had to replace the motor. 1 year and 1 month after purchase, one of the door storage bins cracked. Today, the bin completely broke, spilling full glass jars on me and tile floor. It was an explosion. I've had it with this thing. I'm always cleaning the grate in back so that it the air circulates, and now I've got broken glass and salsa everywhere. Our old fridge never had these problems.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Five years old. Compressor and ice maker are shot. While the compressor is under warranty, it is still costing me 30% of what I paid for it. I can't recommend this product.
