It was recommended by a family member, and I am glad we took their recommendation. Freezer and cold storage well organized for efficient use maximizes capacity. Quiet, and does not leak at water/ice dispenser in door. I would highly recommend this model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this as a replacement for a unit that was only 6 years old but failed twice in 4 months. The good is that the LG has more interior room by 3 cubic feet for the same size unit. Shelving is good and the freezer unit has good room for our needs. One thing that would be good is for the unit to show the actual temperature of both refrigerator and freezer units. We looked at the reviews of this model and most were very positive but a couple were not good. We have had this unit for less than a month and so far it has been doing quite well. If I were to review after a year of no issues I would most likely give it five stars.
